I have spent a little while creating a level. It has four levels in it, and is called "Temple of the dead". There is one thing i need to get out of the way early though.
I have made four levels, but to complete it, you only need to do three.
On the first level, I have placed a secret entrance leading to a giant mummy-infested treasure room. Level two is probably easier than the secret level, so if you're only new-ish to the game, I'd recommend just going for the first entrance you come across, to avoid accidentally stumbling into the mummy-infested room.
It's also not needed to find the secret room, as treasure doesn't mean anything in custom levels, but I just added it in case anyone would want to try to get a high score or anything.

Difficulty: [*.*.*. . ] (Tell me if this seems wrong, I chose 3/5* because I've played MUCH harder levels)

The actual names of the levels, just in case of any screw-ups or anything like that, are here:

Level 1: "Temple of the Dead"
Level 2: "!totd2"
Level 2 (secret passage): "!secret passage"
Level 3: "!totd3"

Yet another edit:

By the way everyone, just so you know, I got a bit tired after spending an hr+ making it, tweaking it, perfecting it, and got a bit lazy.. So, in the first couple of levels, it will be detail-complete, but then it will be a little less detailed, but still fun and challenging.

An additional edit:

Just in case you come across anything in my levels that interests you, you are free to copy the idea. I'd like to see some people use my ideas and turn them into a giant challenge. Wink Have fun.

And one more edit:

With the difficulty icons, you'll all have to help me out, because I don't have a clue what I should label it as.. Medium, Hard? I wouldn't say OMG, but anyway, you'll all have to help me out, I'd appreciate it. Just say so if you really think it should be changed. For now, I will set it to medium, as it is quite easy compared to other levels.

Anything else needed, just tell me, because this is the first time I've shared a level over forums, and I'm not one that likes to create a fuss..

Just for conflict avoidance, you might want to rename the secret passage level to "TOTD secret passage" in case someone makes a level simply titled "secret passage".
About to play now, I'll let ya know how far I get......

few minutes later: So, it seems possible, but my luck continues it's streak of non-existence. Got a bomb out of one of the chests the second time, landed beside one of the springs in the second level the fourth time, which didn't kill me but trapped me eternally in a bed of spikes. Maybe one day... (I think the difficulty you post, 3/5, may be a little high though the first area is pretty easy, and it seems like just bad luck/playing that I die so much) Additionally, I think it is a really cool use of spiderwebs as helpful rather than hinderance, so kudos there!

managed to pass it just before.
Gold=255500
life=6 (3 damsels saved)

Just a suggestion, on the mummy bit you did well with the mummy neer the top that blocked the path. I had to get rid of him with a bomb. But the others were no threat because you put a tile that covered thier top half making it easy to evade/kill them.

Also i see where you kinda got bored on the last bits. The last arrow challange was pretty easy.

Anyway well done, nice work with the first and secret level.

@ AirSalad: Well done.. I don't think I even got 200k, but I didn't bother with the treasure that much when i tested. Tongue

I also agree with the border tiles idea.. It sticks out too much in the level, I was thinking while creating it, "I want to change those tiles Sad", but I guess we shouldn't argue all that much, because we're lucky spelunky has a level editor.
