I was inspired by an old version of Unlimited where the ground was made of random blocks. I decided to make something similar.

This one has 100 levels.

New in 1.2:

-Bizarre things no longer happen when you go past level 15.
-No more holes in ceilings or walls, except in Rushing Water levels.
-Modified title screen.
New in 1.1:

-There is now only one entrance, and it appears somewhere right at the top, where nothing else can spawn. This is to avert the instant death problem.
-The half-altars, which were what was causing Kali to get angry, have been taken out.
-Exits can no longer be blocked.
-Entrances can't either. As a temporary solution, they will take out a chunk of the ceiling, though.
-Slightly reduced the number of spear traps. There are still too many, though.

Download link is broken.

Sounds good though. I think there was a mod called... Spelunky Endless? It had random tiles and enemies from all four areas. Unfortunately it spawned UFOs inside walls, and a ridiculous number of Tomb Lords and Vampires.

Ideas, well, for one thing it would be nice if things wouldn't spawn on top of each other, i foresee a lot of bad situations, I noticed this when i tried to open an item crate and a chest I didn't even know was there opened and unexpectedly released a bomb. Also it seems like every damsel is beside one of the Tiki smashtrap thingers, which is undesirable.

Also another thing, it might defeat the purpose of this mod but the way things are every level just feels the same to me. I think it would be more fun if levels had more direction and were not random hunks of rock floating mid air.

If you don't want to do anything concerning that then I suggest you at least change the exit spawns, half the time i can run two seconds and get to an exit, cutting the level short, if you could there only be one or two exits  on the bottom half of the level that would make the levels longer and hopefully better. Also I don't know how easy this is from a programming standpoint, but if you can I would suggest cutting off the shortcut room entirely and moving the tunnel man door into the main hall.

Hmn I can't think of anything else at the moment, I really want to see more level direction, but that totally messes up the point of it being completely random... oh well.

Good luck on your mod, Pteri, and kudos for making the walls even random, I got tiki'd in the face when I went to jump down lol

EDIT:
I forgot to mention, it lags most of the time too. Im guessing too many moving things, all the tiki's and enemies probably strain the game.

The things spawning on top of each other is a known issue. I should probably fix that, but it would be unbelievably difficult to fix everything. I still get arrow traps and tikis spawning underneath normal blocks, and occasionally I get smashtraps and UFOs spawning inside blocks.

I'm thinking of adding things that don't appear in all levels. Strange rock formations, altars, and so on.

The lag is a complicated story. I think it might be created by the exits, because I did a rather inefficient fix in 1.1 that stopped a magical force that preventd you from being blockfrag'd as soon as you enter a level(that didn't work) from destroying the block the exit sat on. I eventually gave up on that, moved the entrance somewhere nothing solid will ever spawn, and took out the magic force because it was making a hole in the ceiling. The exit fix was never removed.
