So, my picture is supposed to animate, but isn't. It animates when previewed in GIMP, and quicktime, even on the profile page. But when linked to the image in flickr I keep being told the image is "too large or not an avatar". I shrunk it from 200x200 pixels to 150 and got the same message. If I upload it directly it doesn't animate at all. What's the deal? Thanks if anyone can help me, if you need it, I can give you the link to the file itself.

The 200x200 was 147kb, and the smaller 150 was 74.9 What kind of file is it?
It was definitely saved as a Gif animated image, because when I preview the large size on Flickr it does animate, but not the other sizes. Even the large size linked on my profile info page animates, but only when linked to that same one. If I upload it directly, it becomes only the first image. I also have a Gravitar account, which it also does not animate from. Thanks for your help guys    |

The max size is 100x100 and if it's bigger, the forum software will resize it and save it as a PNG. If you can fit it under 100x100, it should animate. |

That explains my avatar not working. Of course, I took it down as soon as I found out it wasn't animating. I need a better one. Seriously.
EDIT: Gah, it's still not working. For some reason, on my mac it appears as a giant question mark.
