I'm only against creating humans, not repairing them.
Same, a lot of the science fiction books about things like that have got me paranoid Because we would be as stupid as the people in the books...

It's inhumane because it's not how humans were made. If you mean inhumane as "not human".
I don't think humans were made to create humans by making body parts and putting them together.
I mean, think, is your moral compass pointing to north?

My moral compass points to humans (and life) winning. And why would it be any more pointless then when a man and a woman love each other very much and have a kid?

Because it's inhumane. It's not meant to be. It's not how it's supposed to work.

I suppose you're against Birth Control, Abortion, IVF, life support, organ donation, medicine, ect.
Humans defy nature. That's what we do.

...No, not against them. Not against ALL of them, actually.
Yes we defy nature. But this is like Frankenstein.

Wow, this is incredible.
(ipwn, is this like the presentation Mr. Hur did in Research?
Nothing at all. Of course, there is always the fear of people cloning hitler.
Hilter's body was cremated. Where would you get the DNA to do that from. And how would you make your clone 100% Hitler phycologically? Hitler's descendents? He had a few nephews, but they did all agree to not have children. And you ask why? Because of the fear that one of his descendents would be like him. Also, http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/YouClonedHitlerAlso, Godwin's law.

I didn't read Godwin's law. Got a link?
Anways, Nurture vs. Nature. I think Hitler would only be bad Hitler if we made him bad Hitler.

Godwin's law is the idea that the probability of comparisons involving hitler or nazis increase as the length of an internet discussion increases.

Godwin's law is so true.
And Hitler is Hitler, not bad. Though my opinion is that he was a sadistic murderer (bad), some people might think otherwise.
And I'm all for stem cells.

@ those saying TOENOS MAKING PERSON FROM BITS!
If that's the only reason you think this field is bad/inhumane/shouldn't be, you are wrong. Very wrong. Many scientific developments can be made evil:
Planes? Warplanes Nuclear Power? Nuclear Weapons Computers/Internet? Both developed in wars. Rocket science? Missles.
Blocking an entire field of research due to what bad things may come out of it is like banning religion because it can lead to morinic fanatics.

Look, we are not going to be growing whole humans to steal body parts, that isn't going to happen, and we are not going to make some super race that is going to whip us out. We couldn't if we wanted to. We are, at best, going to grow body parts and save lives.
And thats a good thing

What. The. Noodle.
I'm not against this field of science. I AM against using this field of science to do something I AM against. Okay? Enough discussion.
