Ahem. Thanks. Hey, I dug your tastes like spelunky mod. I have questions but I should probably go ask them on the thread.

Wow... I was actually hoping that someone would beat like only my 30th or so attempt! Congratulations dude, you are the current record holder. You think you can use the url tag and get that screenshot to appear in the forum?
So for the record, 28000 straight, and with no bombs to boot. Very impressive. Man you got a hell of a lucky run of gems! Was there a snake pit?

Yes I've been really lucky, there was a type of "well" (you know, with 3-4 snakes at the bottom, and two red gems) and there was some safes too. Is it a snake pit ? I'm french, sorry if my english is bad.

Well, lucky for you, this is not an english speaking competition, it's a spelunky playing competition, and you are the current record holder with 28,000.
Yes, that well thing is called a snake pit, and if you drop a bomb in the bottom, you will always find a mattock (pickaxe) there. I'm a little curious how you got out without bombs though... you just use ropes to get out?

I've used just one, because (I've been really lucky, I repeat it) with my tech it's easy to climb the pit. I've just used a rope at the end, because I couldn't jump to high. In fact, my tech is : when you have a type of hollow in the wall of the dig, you can climb jumping into a direction to reach the platform above. I know that it's difficult to understand, I'll try to make a video of it

More like 102, it's an intermediate technique, that although not very hard still takes some practice.

That's true. I'm just bitter cause someone beat my score by 300 without using any bombs or knowing what a snake pit is! (And has a CCR avatar!)

Holy shit. Use img tags so it shows up in the forum? It's better that way. Holy shit, I knew someone could crack 30k. I'm assuming there was a snake pit?
There is no real rule about bombing, and I think intelligent bombing was a part of my original plan. Good man. Since I started this challenge I didn't really want to be the record holder, but I think I may well have to try again. I'm happy to see 30k cracked.
Now I think for someone to beat your score it's going to take some doing.

Well, I tried my best, but most of my attempts only got about half of Glenn's score. I kept getting screwed, though. Every crate I found either had ropes or something useless in it (no extra bombs), and the one time there was a snake pit, I got shot by an arrow and killed. I might try again later, but this is my current best.
