It has a slight offset where it drops the items, make sure you're away from any walls.

Still nothing, but I found the items anyway (save multiple jetpack boost, only ever found one, though I found MANY non-stacking gun/whip boost)
No noticable difference with ring, new boots make spikes still quite lethal at my first accident, and my first black market was ODD. It had no openings to the shops unless I bombed the walls.
And my first words upon receiving the long whip (even though I still only used a shotgun). Censored for 2 short curses "Holy shit! I feel like fucking Simon Belmont!"

The one that is uploaded right now doesn't have the debug activated.
About some of the bugs you've seen glennrieck, I think the wrong one was posted. We'll be uploading the latest version tomorrow. I've changed the way the skeletons are generated and added a Skeleton Mask. If you have the Skeleton Mask, none of the piles of bones will become Skeletons.
remarks regarding stackable items: The gun upgrade is stackable, it's just not displayed that way. You'll fire faster up to 4 upgrades. If you have 4 or more rapid fires, the shotgun reload time is 5 compared to 40, other reload times are 2 compared to 20.
The whip upgrade could be stackable, but if your whip was 3 or 4 spaces in front of you, I, personally, think that it would look a little silly. I suppose it could be made such that if you have one whip upgrade it just increases the damage done by the whip?
another possibility: it could be changed such that if you already have 4 rapid fires/the whip upgrade/certain other non-stackable items, they won't be generated.
I'm curious about how far everyone has gotten. I've yet to add how far a player has gotten to the high scores (i.e. high score for max level). So, if no one is feeling shy, post how far you've gotten so far!

Forgot to mention, although the first time buying C4 went well, the most recent time I hit 'P'...My money goes down, but the $ is still over the C4, which is still in my hand.

I've made a couple of runs now, some of them up to the middle 20s. I find the extra HUD icons clutter the screen.
Right now it just seems like Marathon Spelunky plus extra goodies; what if the marathon bit were developed further? For example, every ten levels you can choose a special perk that can't be acquired anywhere else, and they get better the further you go up to a point. Of course, enemies get their own perks every ten levels too, such as x1.5 health or a speed boost or maybe new, improved variants appear.
I also came up with a crazy idea for an upgrade: explosive whip. Highly recommended you get the extension first, or immunity to explosions if available.
Finally, and this is just a petty request from me, could you keep in mind that there are three playable characters?

Thanks for all the input guys. New version is uploading in the 1st post. I messed up the mediafire link so the debug version wasn't loaded.
Working on some of the c4 bugs still.
DungeonPheonix- I love the idea of getting perks for completing levels, we may switch to that here soon. What does everyone else think of that idea?

I like the ideas of perks and explosive whip.
And in retrospect, continually upgrading whip length actually sounds amusing (and makes a weapon with potential to be better than pistol/even shotgun...though not scepter). Even if weird (a limit might have to be placed to prevent the game crashing). Perhaps the ability to get the super-whip (yes, the mere ability to) could be a early perk. Either way it sounds like a fun little thing to play with when one ditches all forms of being serious.

Does this use the same highscores as normal Spelunky? If it does, you can change that be changing the game identifier under Loading in Global Game Settings.
