I'm not sure this is "unlucky" as more of "forgetful", but...
I was on a good run (I got to the Black Market), shot all the shopkeepers (stole a shotgun before.) and got to the end, stealing everything I wanted in sight. I saw a stunned mantrap, shot it... at the last second, I remembered shopkeepers burst out of mantraps...

One time in the ice caves I got the "wet fur" level feeling, I kill the giant yeti, then I jump down a hole without seeing what is below first, and land in a large pit of spikes. Worst part, I had the jetpack.  |

I once found the black market without having the udjat eye.
Unfortunately, I couldn't buy the ankh, and I've never reached the city of gold without cheating.

How about this. First time at the boss battle, with scepter, I make it almost to the lava with enough ropes to get out, and I get a little off center on the block and SMUSH. I died. I don't even have the 3rd shortcut XD Oh well, next time.

My luckiest moments so far: just now I was playing and by the fourth level I had cape, climbing gloves, and mattock, more or less invincible. But I'm still a pretty new player, so I didn't know, the maneater plants are not to jump on. Oh, well! It's a great combo, though. Cape, climbing gloves, mattock. Just... invincible.

JetPack Shotgun is the usual god mode combo, but add in ankh and compass, and replace shotgun with sceptre and you are set for life. |

I was playing bombs of boom and I had a Shotgun after I destroyed the whole blocks I realized that i can't exit because I had no ropes so I just waited the ghost
But my luckiest moment was when I played with the Tunnel Man and i collected 1371925 gold, I am not kidding
