yes another spelunky mod and before i explain this i will state i dont have GMP so i cant make this i dont even get how GM works  Undecided anyway this is just a simple idea to add achievements to the game if you need ideas for some ill help out and to check which ones you have maybe a new room at the start screen? anyway if you need ideas for this ill help but as stated above i dont get GM at all

EDIT:ya know what im gonna try this for myself i need to learn GM so what better way than making my own spelunky mod of course ill need help so anyone that could help me i would love the help

ok thanks im think of adding points for getting ahcievements and as you unlock points you get items like a cape every time you start and im programing another boss that you can fight after unlocking them all and beating him gets a nice but unknown reward anyway i need ideas for ahcievements

The sense I get from your explanation is the first one, in which case adding a global variable like "global.acheive_score" or something would be all you need. Then various scores added for certain things, based on dying or killing enemies could just be popped into the existing code.

The issue with that would be he would still have to add each achievements or you could get them more then once, and for getting them, so that wouldn't really help to much, it would be good for starting with cool items, but other wise?

after finally learning game maker spelunky plus is making a comeback but instead of just achievements its gonna have hidden bosses new enemies better items and more there are three achievements so far and one new boss lets just say bomb three altairs and see what happenes when its released hehehe
