 So no matter what the picture is, it's an avatar in forums? I thought avatars were pictures that represented characters They normaly are. But fourms are weird. Also as a note, not that I think you would, but some people do, avatars are only the ones under names, not the one in peoples sigs. |

Basicly the thing that says "I made a rap." for you? if it's there it's not an avatar.

Haha But if it was a picture, would it be an avatar automatically? An avatar is something that represents something, and is controlled by that same person. So any image that is used like such is an avatar. It comes from the idea of gods using avatars (basicly fake people that are mini-bodies for them) |

Hm, that reminds me, I have to make a new (better) GIF for my avatar. Because I don't fly with anything that isn't animated for some reason. Hmph. An easy example of an avatar is on Club Penguin. All the avatars are penguins. And in RuneScape. All the avatars are humans. They're the little people who walk around when you click on the floor. Those are avatars. So stop acting all confused!!  |
