Today I downloaded speluky at college and starting playing. I did everything needed to get to the city of gold for the frist time...

Then died right in front of the door to the city of gold.

Not me. I followed Enuo and got mauled by a yeti.

I haven't played for a while and needed to kill some time today. "Why not Spelunky", I thought. First trying a speed run which didn't work out, and dying two levels into the temple area. I actually made it to the boss for the first time from start to end. This was my loadout at the end of the Ice area.


I robbed a lot of shops and got lots of prizes from boxes, in the last couple temple levels I also got the spring shoes.

Anyway started the boss and considered taking the loot above first, but decided I would wait. Pretty standard bait and run tactic, then I realized I had 16 bombs! So I started blowing up the ground under him to speed things along.....

Yeah, one block to go and I blew myself up. Go me!

I know what you mean, the first five times I made it to the boss, I died at the last little bit. Usually due to bombing my self, but one time I was pushing on the boss (like a pushable block) and got stuck and couldn't move.

I like how the game mocks me by letting the boss then crash through and sink into the lava with the game over text above it. WHY SPELUNKY, WHY?

Sorry to double, but it's been a while and I wanted to make sure this gets noticed. The clouds have finally opened and allowed me a brief glimpse at the infinite heavens! Yes, I finally finished Spelunky! Playing simply to waste time while waiting for a friend, I managed to purchase a jetpack around the third level or so (for every last cent I had). Proceeding I ended up collecting the Hedjet for the first time ever, never imagining I would soon enter the City of Gold (also for the first time). How could I ever guess this would all come to an end with me victorious? Well, if you think it was easy, just check out the video. It hasn't finished processing at the moment, but I'll link to the channel should be done soon.
Be forewarned, if you haven't seen any of the other videos I've done, know there is extensive swearing!As a bonus, this video also includes me: crying like a baby, screaming like a girl, yelling like a madman, and praying like a lost soul. This is the end of the Spelunky Suffering series, however, my true suffering has only just begun. Please check it out and lose any slight amount of respect you may have had for me!

Too much work to try and be around people just to avoid them. Rather just stay away entirely.
