Considering Nathan took his first pawn one space rather than two, I'll put two Mossbits on Taylor.

You call that venting? Here, lemme show you...

Know what I hate? The lazy, self-centered ASSHOLES who go to the grocery store and leave frozen items out on the shelf.

Now maybe you just are too damn busy to be bothered and put back what YOU took out, that's understandable. But you are leaving through the front door right? The one just past all the cashiers, baggers, managers and customer service? The only way out? So is it that hard to, I don't know, say, "I changed my mind." and have them put it back, rather than leave it out to spoil? I want to come to your house and leave your freezer contents in your fucking bed you ballsack. Grow the fuck up, then die.

Thank you.

Treasure Adventure Game = original/ free version
Treasure Adventure World = new/paid version

The new will of course have updated graphics and other additions to gameplay. You could consider it similar to Zelda, it has real-time fighting, lots of items/equipment, and the multiple islands obviously have a lot in common to the world of Wind Waker. Otherwise it's more of a Metroid style platformer.

I think the closest thing (besides platforming) it has to Terraria is having Chucklefish, the folks making Starbound, as a publisher.

Well on-topic, I think we'd rather you post your own opinions, experiences, and other thoughts when making a game topic, rather than copy-pasting from a wiki. You're basically mentioning the game and telling us to check it out ourselves, but not saying why you think we should.

I played the demo and it wasn't entirely impressive. I remember some talk about emergent gameplay from E3 (at least I think it was on this game), but it felt close to Dead to Rights to me. It focuses very heavily on combat and the, now rather overused, alignment system. Basically if you act like a cop you get "good points" if you act like a gangster you get "bad" ones. This does lead to some entertaining environmental kills, but see one guy chopped up in a fan and you've seen 'em all.

Controls seemed decent, I remember having a bit of trouble combining gun play and melee, but can't recall exactly what the issue was. Melee worked very well alone though, from what I remember. For the most part the demo seemed like more of the same, I've played games exactly like this for years now, and it didn't try very hard to show me otherwise.

The high point seemed to be the story. As generic as it may be, it sounded interesting enough, I did feel like seeing what happened next after the demo. However, I would probably just watch an LP instead.

Probably have to look it up anyway. Tongue

I did fine with the frog until his last question, I was trying to think of an actual answer. Maybe that's why I'm blanking on this one?

If anyone got different enchants than me, it seems good but I wouldn't recommend a summoning spear with a summoning crown. It can get messy.

How many candies does the candiest person in the world have?

Man I was having a lot of trouble mixing potions, turns out I was mistaking candy/lollipop ingredients and reading the numbers wrong. I still like A Dark Room better, but interested to see CB2 now.

Beta dungeons aren't as fun as I hoped, I assume it's a bug but the dude kept pulling away while I was trying to walk. Seems like he can walk around on his own too, but it was a chore getting him to go where I wanted. Also it really needs to use the arrow keys or WASD, not on screen buttons.

That 8 button was the best part of the demo.

So will this be different from the mod? Other than little improvements, I mean, would I have the same experience playing the mod and the standalone, or is it different enough that it's worth waiting for (or playing both)?

Not much to discuss yet anyway, besides the info Taylor posted nothing else is really known. I'm looking forward to some good Norse mythology though, they also plan to make this one more easy to approach than the original. Don't know if that's good or bad, but I trust Nigoro, hopefully they will produce and distribute themselves instead of going through a third party this time though.

The Witcher- Enhanced Edition is free with any purchase on GOG.com through the 17th. Get it if you don't already own it, need the extras, or just want a DRM-free version like me.

You gonna host a server? I'll be a carpenter!
14  General / Games / Re: Jet Set Radio on: October 09, 2013, 10:39:28 AM
I was really disappointed getting this on Steam, because I thought I was getting JSRF (Xbox version), I always knew this as Jet Grind Radio(DC version).

It's not a big difference, but it's much slower and I don't think you can tag out for other crew members.

So are you guys playing the normal or beta? I wanna see the dungeons, so starting fresh with the beta. (just add /beta/ to the url, or use the link in the changelog)
