The text on this game is very trivial to the experience, and I think it would be a waste of time to do something like this.

Taylor is a unisex name. Shane is as well (not a popular girls name but I know girls named Shane). Taylor has an R in it which Is the letter before S which is the first letter in Shane. Shane is 5 letters long and so is Taylor. There! I proved it!
Just because Taylor's a unisex name doesn't automatically mean she's Shane.

The "r before s" part? Why do you see that as proof? That doesn't seem to be common sense to me.
He's joking...

Taylor it is a joke.
No need to take it seriously
Why does nobody realize things are jokes anymore?
19  Games / Spelunky / Re: Humble Release on: September 15, 2013, 09:54:33 AM
That is some pretty weak piss poor handling by Mossmouth. "Humble store" soon after have been promised and look a month and a half later, the Vita version is out and still no Humble release.

Just put it in a Humble Bundle, I'd just make sure you get nothing. Angry <- pissed
Just fucking buy the game

What about parts of LA or New York, then?
Who fucking cares?

They do live in English speaking countries. Maybe not everywhere, but it doesn't matter if they live everywhere. We explain that people named Jesus live in the us, but you keep saying
In case you guys are wondering, when I said "uncommon in English-Speaking countries", I was talking about countries like America, the UK, etc.
We know what countries speak English, but thank you. Our point is people move to America from non-English-speaking countries. Mostly in areas close to Mexico for reasons.

Blender can create 3D sprites.
I think they are called models.

Can people from other countries not move to America or something?

"Jesus" is a common name in other cultures because of the fact that it's the name of an important religious figure.
similar to "Mohammed"

The treeguards can't 1 shot you.
Also you could of walked away from the treeguard, i had to run around with only a torch for 1 whole night with a Werepig and treeguard chasing me
1: wasn't at full health
2: was looking through a chest, didn't notice it until it hit me. (Keep in mind I didn't look through the wiki much and had no idea these things existed)

Compare it with Spelunky
Well, the thing is, is that it's really easy to survive like 15 days in Don't Starve, with default settings. The difference between Spelunky and Don't Starve is that with Spelunky, you play 5 mins, die, and then try again. In Don't Starve, you play for 3 hours, die, and then try again.
In Don't Starve it is a lot more stressful because it has a lot of time in it on the line. I can't explain how frustrated I was when I was looking through a chest on day 23 after hours of playing only to have a fucking tree stand up behind me and one shot me.
That isn't fucking fun, man.

Hunger mechanics especially get on my nerves, I haven't seen many games that handle them well.
Yeah, I just find hunger bars stressful and they take away too much from just enjoying the game. I know that game would be too easy otherwise, but that's just what I think.
27  Games / Spelunky / Re: why dont we have TM and Damsel as playable characters? on: September 08, 2013, 02:19:28 PM
I dont mean official characters, but why has no one modded it in yet?

Also Mantraps
And the dog, too.

EDIT: I added the quote because Subs posted like 10 seconds before me so it looked like I said something else.

Oh yeah, and I restarted Cookie Clicker (there is a prestige system where if you restart, the cookies you have turn into a permanent bonus for the new game, I get 55% more CPS now)
Why did you restart it?
Now I may finally beat you...
if I still play it as I did before.

Because it is pitifully hard to progress when everything costs like 3 trillion or more, and there are no upgrades to get. This way I'll get much more cookies when I'm at the same spot.

EDIT:
Plus the beginning is the most fun IMO.

It's like I make a half game, you complete the rest.
As if art was half the game...

In other words, would someone mind if I make my Spelunky mod Donationware (if I were to make one)?
That is the wrong reason to want to create a mod.
