There's always that project to start colonizing Mars. Granted I don't think it starts till 2040, but still!

(Not saying that you need to go to Mars, just giving options to facilitate the leaving Earth thing.)

That's odd, Joy2Key has been able to detect everything I've thrown at it so far. Check to make sure windows recognizes the controller (look in devices). Obviously Spelunky won't see it if your computer can't even recognize it.

Most standard encryption algorithms used today were created decades ago. The trick about cracking encryptions is that you have to know what at least some of the un-encrypted data looks exactly like, otherwise the best you could do is just take stabs in the dark.

Basically, I wouldn't be too afraid of encryption breaking tech anytime soon.

Bitcoin is... interesting stuff.

Be careful though, due to its decentralization, if you get hacked and lose them all there's no one to help you with it.
