Thought I would share a Spelunky Pushmo of mine!



Hopefully this will be the start of a whole collection of Spelunky Pushmo! I love this game, and seem to always keep coming back to it - just like Spelunky!

Anything is fine by me! I've been practicing pixel art myself because I want to develop my own game, but I'm not very good at art generally so I'm still a LONG way off from being able to do something like that.

Hey everyone! Remember me? 

Busy life has been busy and I haven't played Spelunky in AGES, but I really DO want to get back to it some day. Also, I would love to be a part of this. I don't really have any artistic ability so I wouldn't really be very good at making a new sprite... here are my thoughts though.

If you guys aren't opposed to me gaying up the place, I would love it if:

Name? Bazly
What will you replace? The Damsel
What will you be? Me!
Why do you want to replace that? I would love to see Spelunky saving little sprite version of myself. The kiss bit will look particularly funny  .
Notable traits of the replacement? Again, I don't have much artistic talent... but I do have an idea what I would want it to look like if someone here is good with sprites. I have a "cartoon me" that a friend drew for a comic book and it shows exactly what I would want to look like in cartoon/sprite form!

Alternatively, we could replace the Damsel with either Terra or Celes from Final Fantasy 6, given that it's my favourite game. Wouldn't be as much fun as MYSELF being in there but, you know, I can't do this MYSELF and I don't want to assume that you are all comfortable changing the sexual orientation of the Spelunker  .

I know we're all the manliest of men here, but I'm just gonna come right out and say it:

Is this the first time something like this has happened, or is drinking kind of a regular problem? You make it sound like you've had to yell his ear off a bit.

Maybe this situation will make him realize he should do something? If not, then maybe you and some other loved ones may want to sit him down and tell him there is clearly a problem.

Oh wow! People like me!  Haha.

I hope to do some Spelunky-ing soon, I've been getting the craving to play it, I have so little free time though. I'm finishing one degree this year but also simulatenously starting a second one, so I'm pretty swamped. I wanted to try and reconnect with the communities I used to frequent though.

So, back in the day I only ever really posted in the Source and Level-Sharing forums, so it's kind of odd to post this in "Discuss!", but it seemed like the only appropriate place for it, and I didn't want to make this post elsewhere and get in trouble.

I just wanted to know how everyone is doing! And let you all know that I'm ALIVE! I've been RIDICULOUSLY busy and have been mostly playing other games, but I want to get back to Spelunky sometime soon and rejoin my friends over in the editing forums! Send me a message sometime guys, and hopefully son I can go and start trying out some of the levels I've been missing out on, and maybe make some of my own!

Hey there guys! I've been MIA for a while, so sorry about that! Can someone give me an update on what's been going on with this?

I've missed spelunky and defintiely need to get back into it, but I've bene neglecting all of the internet communities I frequent due to school and ridiculous medical problems. I might just delete all of my current Spelunky files and redownload it and all the Mods I play on, so I know for sure I have the latest of the latest of everything!

This one comes form trying to load "MSDEMO.LVL". Just thought I'd mention it.

I don't have much to contribute to the current conversation going on, I just wanted to say, that this is simply amazing. You guys have officially blown my mind, I didn't think Spelunky could get a million times more awesome, and it has. Love you all.

P.S.: I was playing the demo and couldn't help but notice... anyone who DOESN'T know that you can put arrows in walls and climb them, after I've made about five level sets based on this concept... shame on you all.

It's been a while lol.

HI GUYS! GUESS WHAT?! I'M ALIVE!

I've been gone for so long! So much has happened! I need to keep up with all of this. I'm sorry, I love you all.

And I would say I'd be willing to work on such a thing but I'm not really skilled with programming. I'm moderately familiar with RPG Maker, I could probably kind of help work on something, though I don't know what exactly I could contribute. Keep me updated.

Have missed you guys, school has been hell though.

P.S.: I'm big on Roguelikes, I would love a legit Spelunky RL.
