looks like a great tool, looking forward to messing around with it. i'm very happy to hear that scores will be disabled - that was a serious problem with the other seeding tool. will it just be online scores disabled, or will local scores be as well?

also, is it possible to implement a small watermark of of sorts (maybe an icon) when this is program is being used? that would be nice to help determine legitimacy of screenshots and videos/streams.

Anybody else experiencing this? It is occurring on two of my computers, do I don't think it is the hardware.

After choosing 'Play Game' and then 'Adventure', on the character select screen I find myself unable to navigate backwards, whether it be by pressing 'esc' or by clicking on 'back'. Only after I have selected my character and climbed into the main area that 'esc' functions normally and I am able to go back. I don't recall this behavior occurring prior to the update, nor do I believe it is desired.

the thing is, i got lost. i couldn't find the jerky sceptre (in the ghost chef place) since i never saw the rightmost door.
i had been taking the item to the left door and leaving.

thinking that i'd missed something, i bombed upwards (since i HAD just gotten a ton of them) and entered a few levels on the top floor.

oh well, it worked out in the end.

just beat it for the first time.
the last level (ipwnu desert) was insane!

i kinda broke a level and had to start over, though. while holding the red lamp, the hamjet, and the death mask, i got lost and bombed my way up from the bottom of the sanctum (through the lava).

i ended up inside of the jetpack level (with the item snatchers) and remained stuck. Sad
maybe you could include exits right at the entrance if somebody enters a level they can't get through?

great game though. i really appreciate all the time and effort you guys put into this!

sorry to double post, but i've encountered a few more errors.

i don't know if you could fix this clipping glitch though. (might be in the original as well, who knows?) - click for larger image.
she got stuck in the wall in a running motion.

oh, and yay. beat the game again with a ton of items to spare. i really got lucky with that room. Cheesy

Yeah, it's unfortunate, but it's necessary.  Olmec (or Meatmec, in this case) is capable of destroying any floor tile, including the one under the exit, so Derek simply forced it to respawn when the final boss was done sinking and the door opened.

Next time, don't stand in that spot! Wink

don't worry, i'll definitely remember that. i initially thought that the door tile was going to move down towards me, but boy was i wrong. Tongue

GAH! during a city-of-gold run i died AFTER beating the last boss (and clearing the room).

the side on the right looked like:


. = empty
D = door
X = me
o = ground tiles

apparently one of my bombs had blown up the spot where the door was supposed to be above.

all of a sudden, a ground block appeared where i was.. and killed me.
i died one square away from the finish. =.=

does it do this in regular spelunky as well?

okay, alright. that was the first time i ran it, didn't realize though.
i only used the unlocker because i had completed the whole thing on my other computer. i might reset eventually, but i like playing the minigames. Smiley
