Hmm. Does this version keep track of total treasure collected?

And for the thrown into wall glitch: I have no experience with Game Maker (literally; never even used it before), but couldn't you make it so that instead of being moved to behind the thrower when thrown, you're just moved to the thrower's position?

A mod to record further data in the Stats file.
-Total treasure collected
-Total sacrifices
-Total damage taken
-F1 deaths (when the player quits a game with pause+F1)
-Bomb deaths

Sad Did you upload the one using Mudkip sprites? I downloaded it, and all I saw were the normal spelunker sprites. Only things changed were the ropes and bombs.

I haven't seen these perks mentioned yet (and yes, they are from Spelunky X, lol):
Regeneration: Slowly recover health (a heart a minute, perhaps?)
Long Fall: Can withstand falls from 2 blocks higher.
Clear Mind: Stun time reduced by 50%.

Quick idea: Why don't you make antidote a carryable item? That way, it can trigger as soon as it's needed, like a parachute, but it won't be wasted if the player isn't poisoned at the time of picking it up. Not ONCE have I ever found an antidote in a place where it actually helped me.

Also, the new gun is AMAZING. Just exactly how much damage does each pellet do???
