I can't believe no one has made this yet.

Tired of being haunted by your local cave ghost?
Yea!
Wish you could just forget about him and never worry about time ever again?

Spelunky: Un-Haunted

Whooo! Yaaaay! Cheers!

Now you can Spelunk to your hearts content, without the worries of time constraints made by immortal ghosts!

Actually, now that I think about it, it is quite odd that no one made this yet. Was it hard to edit out? ;P I'd doubt that.

Well anyway, I'll download this now. When I go to play normal spelunky, I'll play this one from now on. :)

Actually, I might play the old one still, but more often I'd probably play this one. Thanks for this. :D

Thanks! I had a lot of fun writing the "ad" for it.
I'm glad that some people plan on using it.

It really wasn't hard at all. All I did was comment out one block of code.

Yea, the ad probably took 5 times longer than the mod itself, no joke.

No enemies either? If others want it too, then maybe.

To add on
Spiders should not appear when you destroy an altar
Cavemen should not be in ice blocks
Shops should be empty
No damsels? Or keep them?
No enemies spawn from pots
No magma men
No Olmec?  If we keep, he should not spawn enemies
No cultist or cavemen in last level
Bat and snake in tutorial?

Is there any chance we could get a Spelunky 1.2 (http://mossmouth.com/forums/index.php?topic=1257.0) version of Un-Haunted?  Since the Spelunky 1.2 Project is a bug fix mod there is no reason not to use its source for small mods like this, and I would like to have the bug fixes and no ghosts with the same exe.

I don't see why not. You may have to wait a while though, this weekend is rather busy for me.

Bumping this fantastic mod to personally thank the creator. You allowed me to truly enjoy this game. Thanks for taking the time to make it and for replying to my emails. Crazy how such a small change can make such a large difference.
