I like it. :)

Funny bug, though: in level 5, I got eaten by one of those plants. The HUD vanished, and Spelunky became invisible. I continued on to finish the level, completely invisible (thankfully, my shotgun was still visible).

Yeah, Ghosts do the same thing. Might want to fix that.

EDIT:Bottomless pits in area 3 can still kill you. Should probably fix that.

EDIT AGAIN: Lava, too.

Bug: When you touch floor of lava, you get stunned
Bug: When you are inside a spike block, you have 89 life until you move out

haven't tested but...
What happens if you get smashed into the wall by the boulder and it stops?
Also dropping bombs in lava makes them explode immediately.

That's not true or a bug

What's not true?
If you're in lava and drop a bomb it explodes immediately.

He said

"dropping bombs in lava makes them explode immediately"

That's ambiguous, I thought he meant dropping them in

Thanks for the mod! Suicide doesn't work for me though, when I try to die through the pause menu I don't die and I simply throw a bomb. Could you have a look and see if the suicide code is working? I really really want to explore the City of Gold...

Try redownloading the game. The suicide from the mod seems to work for me.

Ah, I was using it with a native gamepad. It works with Joy2Key using the keyboard. Great!

Amazing! I could never beat the game SO easily and kill Yetis easier than snakes! (shoppies still are bloody hard to kill though)

A clearly unfixable BUG:
It is impossible the Stars and Moon rooms!
You have to die to end the minigames.
When I played it messed up my stats. I know it doesnt matter that much but i thought u said it wouldnt. If thats not a bug, u might want to say that it doesnt have separate stats.

It shouldn't have messed up your stats  :-[ ....something must have gone wrong ??? .
i checked it twice after reading your comment...and it works fine...

Did u try downloading the mod again, and then use it?(i guess, u must have)...

Is the mod writing your stats to a separate file called "casual stats.txt"? or is it overwriting your default "stats.txt" file...

the first time when i played, it said:

SPELUNKY CASUAL TOP DEFILERS:

blah blah blah.

But when I went back into normal spelunky, the stats were the same, as in, I had won the game in casual, so it said i had won in the norm game.

A true Spelunky Invincible mod? Yes please. Speaking of that, I don't suppose you could join forces with that mod could you?

We need Spelunky: The Ultimate Cheat Mod

Anyway, your work is much appreciated!

Excuse me, could I be so bold as to ask for the source code for casual? I have a person I want to make a quick little mod of it for me.

I find it impossible to get the mod, can someone upload it somewhere BESIDES box.net?

(one, the site simply denies letting "this user" (not actually a user) download it, then when I tried to "sign up" the site kept saying the timer ran out every 5 seconds, and refreshed the sign up page)

Nevermind about asking for someone to upload it somewhere else, apparently it needs cookies to allow a download to occur (and javascript, but the thing stopping me was the cookie  :-[ )

I think the Download is Infected with a Virus... Chrome is picking it up as Malware for me. Anyone else getting this? Or is it just a False-Positive?

It's a false positive.

Chrome does that with small files that have few downloads.
