Title: Leaderboard reset?
Post by: joey4track on March 03, 2014, 05:00:52 PM
Is there anyway to reset my score on the leaderboards? I have been playing around with cheat engine in order to test my mod in Hell since there is no shortcut for it and now my fastest time says 8:39 5-4. This couldn't be farther from the truth. I really don't want to lose my 890K+ high score but i will sacrifice it, if that means I can get my fastest time reset as I want my fastest time to be legit.

Is there anyway to reset them?

I know that it is possible, as I was in a similar situation about 2 weeks before the release (press access). I would probably advise sending Derek Yu an email explaining what happened and give your Steam ID to be reset.

Well you're being honest about a mistake. I hope that doesn't result in a ban. That would suck! Losing your high score should be penalty enough... hopefully. Good luck dude. I love the work you've out into your mod!

Ah yes, a ban from steam for modding a single player game. That's totally appropriate.

No, it's actually because he hacked (To test his mod) and got a non-legit time on the leaderboard. (8 mins if you read the OP)

Not that big of a deal, guys. If he can get it reset, yay. If not, it's not the end of the world. Stop giving him a hard time.

Haha, I'm not sweating. People will always overreact and get melodramatic on the internets.. I just want to fix my score because I want to work on my last two achievements.
