Title: Problem with "Average of Top Ten Daily Scores" leaderboard (PS4)
Post by: gebler on June 13, 2018, 01:03:52 PM
I'm not a very skilled Spelunky player, but thought I'd have a chance to get into the leaderboard for "average of top ten daily scores" at least, where the lowest score is currently $32427 (I regularly do quite a bit better than that).  Something seems wrong with the averaging, though, since the score I see on the leaderboard (shown as rank #10001, i.e. outside the leaderboard) is always 10% of my latest daily score, seemingly disregarding all earlier daily scores.  I've tested this both with my main PSN account and a newly created one, with the same results, so I don't think it's the profile that's corrupted.  Perhaps the algorithm keeps the running average in the leaderboard itself, and doesn't bootstrap properly once the leaderboard is full?
