Title: Spelunky Classic, old versions where do I download
Post by: chaosbreaker on September 07, 2015, 05:37:47 PM
Hello,

I am looking to use Spelunky classic for a class on QA game testing.  Is there a place to download older versions, like beta, alpha and sort?

Can I also find changlogs for the builds?

Can someone point the way?

Thanks,

Hmm, I'm sure you can still get the classic version off the main website, but I don't know about older versions.  I'm sure someone out there has them lying around, but I wouldn't know who to ask or where.  This place is far too dead to give any promising results.

They're giving out the Spelunky Classic game and source code in this week's Weekly Humble Bundle:

https://www.humblebundle.com/weekly

If you scroll down, you'll spot it as a free download. But the bundle itself is really the best time to ever get Game Maker Studio Professional! Along with the source code and game assets of very great games featured there!

Spelunky Classic and source has been free though, since the dawn of time.

But yeah it's a great time to pick up game maker
